Congregational Land Partners worked with Maryvale, a Catholic organization that has functioned as an orphanage for 168 years, to plan the next steps of its evolution after closure of its flagship residential program for foster youth in 2020. Our role consisted of identifying new potential uses for the buildings and open spaces on the campus that were consistent with Maryvale’s mission and capacity. We then supported Maryvale and a team in the entitlement process, which concluded with a new Planned Development permit in 2024.
